I’m Marco

A 26-year old artist from Compton, California.

I specialize in portrait photography—I’ve been shooting with both digital and film cameras for 4+ years.

I started as a production assistant for food photographers in and around Los Angeles. I began freelancing as a photo assistant and lighting tech soon after; working with various photographers in the Fashion, Food, Product, E-comm, Entertainment, and Editorial industry.
I joined Color Compton and The Compton Art and History Museum team as their Media Lead 2 years ago! These two non-profits work with the community and youth to shift the narrative of Compton and cities just like it. They’re dedicated to dismantling the single-story narrative that has historically harmed our communities by grounding themselves as a pillar in the community.

I’m a second year film major at El Camino College, and I play guitar for @headfirsthc, a hardcore punk band straight out of Compton!
